Lodge Retreat 9 Reviews

“Pleasant and enjoable stay”

We had a lovely stay a Lodge Retreat 9. We stayed for a week May/June. The lodge is really spacious and felt like a bungalow! All rooms were a good size and decorative and furnishings details were very nice. Lots of kitchen utensils, as well as sufficient bedding, pillows, cushions and throws supplied. WIFI good and TV all worked fine.

The location was really quiet, not many other lodges occupied while we were there.

Approx 15 mins slow walk with kids to the centre. Buggy for the little one. Our 8 yr old walked fine.

We didn't get play passes for our visit as we know the area so well. We did use the arcades and play parks though.

We visited locally, Northumberland Zoo, Lindersfarne, Holy Island, Lilidorei & Alnwick Garens, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Spittal Beach and Berwick.

Our only disappointment was that there was no dishwasher when it was advertised with one, as we would have picked another lodge. The owner did apologise that it had been replaced with a washing machine, which we did use during our stay.
